>>>>>>>I ran into a problem with SP4, and found the fix. To generalize, I had a form that was originally compiled under SP3. This morning I needed to do some work with it and found that if the Debugger was open when the form was run, VFP crashed. After doing some playing around (including re-compiling) I found that, for some reason the problem was with the resource file. After zapping it, everything was fine again.

I did and when the reboot got back to the windows screen it shows a little message box in the top left corner that it is setting up some programs. Well ever since then, every time I reboot the message box is there. Know any place I can check to clear this out? It does not seem to cause any problems, it is just kind of bothersome to me.

>>>Look in you're Windows directory for a file named wininit.ini. If it's there and the (creation) date is the same as the date you installed the SP, that might be it.

>>Nope only a wininit.exe and wininit.bak found on my system and they are both in c:\windows.

Just an entry with name 'default' and data of 'value not set'
