>Hi Doug,

>>My background is in the Calvary Chapel movement (
www.calvarychapel.org) and kind of runs the gamut from some old Michael Omartian stuff (White Horse) to some Christian acid rock <g> to contemporary songs that take Bible verses as their source. A friend of mine (Mike McIntosh) started Maranatha Music and they put out a lot of neat stuff. My latest fav is a sort of reprise: It's called "First Love" and features a bunch of folks from that era. Narry McGuire, 2nd Chapter of Acts, Honeytree, etc..

>Boy those names bring back some memories! I have many of their old records. No turntable though! I've been exploring getting them "burned" onto CDs lately. Wish they'd be republished/remixed for me! I'll have to look for that "First Love" CD, sounds GREAT to me!

Bill,
It is really a neat CD (x2 actually). They also have a video as well and if you don't mind the $40.00 it's worth every penny. I keep giving mine away. <g> You can get the CD and/or video on the web.
Best,
