>ALT+252 is the keystroke for this character, but the ASCII code for the character is 252. Are you sure you're setting the font of the field to "Wingdings"? The only time I have had trouble with this was in VFP5. before one of the SP's it would print a funny "u" instead of the check mark. However, since the correcting SP, I have not seen a problem. I just ran a simple example report form against a table with teo logical fields and the check marks showed up fine. VFP6 SP3.

I double checked my report and the character that is printing when I asked for CHR(252) is really CHR(220). I dont know why this is happening, but it is confusing.

I found out why.

The field I borrowed (copied from) to test this out had a 'Y' in the format. Once I removed the 'Y' then it will print the check mark ok. I guess I need to slow down a little on my testing. Sorry for the trouble Bill.
