Ok - that is what I missed, edit for the grid first. It is working wonderfully for the fields that have characters in them, but shouldn't it also work (seek) for the numbers as well? I have character fields, but they actually contain numbers. I've run several tests independently and it always finds the numbers regardless. Any suggestions? One final thing, when I complete the seek and I have found the row that I want to transfer back to the original inquiry screen -what is the best way to do this?
