This question has nothing to do with VFP but maybe someone knows.

We have a router attached to a windows 2000 advanced server machine.
The router can send system massages to a host using the ipaddress of the host and a port number(514). But when i watch the networkmonitor the system(windows) reports to the router that the destination can't be reached.
How do i configure Windows to recieve such messages (to be a host)?
