Sure sounds like gossip, except that Les Pinter's name is on it. The usual stance on gossip like this is that if you don't have a real name and telephone number you should discount the story as a rumor.

I do know that the Gartner Group put out certian opinions that Fox was dying and a lot of IT managers blindly follow Gartner.
