Hi Moises,
Clipper errors usually come with a number and most of the time will display the callstack that lead to the error.
The error you got is not from Clipper. There are two possibilities here:
1. The error is being reported by the application - probably complaining about a file that's missing.
2. It's a dBase IV error -- .mdx is an index extension for dbase, not for clipper (although clipper can handle those files).
If you have this app working on another computer, look for differences in the c:\, c:\dos, and the app's home directory.
Also try to open the executable in a hex editor and look for strings containing ":\" or just "\". These may have clues as to what file the program is looking for.
Good luck!
Alex
