Well to help the French Canadian Debate...I believe French and English can co-exist.
The problem i have is when the FEW :-) french speaking canadians chose to speak only french when they full well know english. I believe if the person you are talking to is speaking english then you should do the same to the best of your ability...and vice versa.
I have had many experinces with french speaking people...as i was from Cornwall, ON and a few have rubbed me the wrong way. But i do feel that the politics has made this situation a lot worse. The french are forcing there language and the english are forcing back if we let the laws die and let people talk the way they want to and have structure then we would all be the better.
The language laws are stupid!!!
If you wnat English on the top of the sign then you put english first this is your business not Quebecs business!
PS. I have friends that recently moved from Montreal and we have a good time together.
I also wished that i learned more french in school as well..What they taught was not enough.
