......If the DDL you talk about is an in-process COM server, then yes, VFP can use it.

So far in my reading about creating the dll in VB it talks of being either in process or out process. I'm still learning so I'm not quite sure what the difference is.
Anyway, what is throwing me is some of the terminology. The VB docs call the dll an ActiveX dll. Is there a difference between a "plain" dll and an ActiveX dll?
