Ever seen the movie office space? If not you should rent it, its hilariouse and very relative to your question.

On a seriouse note, put everything you can think of and more into the report. Make everything sound like it's the greatest thing in the world. Put in ideas you've had. Put in the littlest things you've done. The thing is most non-programmers will not know what is hard and what is easy so put it all in and build yourself up to look like the greatest programmer/employee in the company.

I have to do this every year for an annual bonus. It's a pain but I do it on company time, so I figure it's their loss.
