As usual, when you convert like this, you find lots of fields in the original tables which are redundant, unnecessary or just plain stup... useless. I've converted some (Cobol) tables, where I've found Recno() (or equivalent) written into four different columns. > you must have SCATTERed first... did you?...rob No, no need for that. The values/vars are created exactly where you see them. No pre-initialization is necessary. Besides, Scattering from an empty target table would create blank memvars... and not nulls, which may be of some importance if nulls are forbidden in the table.
