whenever i try to "redefine" a view
I get an illegal operation error.

In foxpro6 it gives me the line of the error

it is in the frmsdt.redefineview method

create sql view (tcView) &lcRemote ;
as &lcSQL

seems to be the command causing the problem.
Some of these views have very long SQL SELECT statements.

Is there a command I could replace this with ?
Instead of using macro substitution ?
