You're in for a SSSSSHHHOOOOOOOCKKKKKKKKKKKKKK !!!

Whenever you've developed an app or exe in vfp try just for fun this :

Build an exe or app from your projectfile.

Now before you do so go to the Project|Info from the menubar.
On the first tab next to attach Icon you'll find three checkboxes.
One of them saying Encrypt.
turn this off (which is DEFAULT actually !!!)

Now build the exe.
minimize the whole VFP screen and go to MS DOS.
Go to the directory where your EXE-file is.
Now type "edit xxx.exe where xxx is the name of your exe-file.

Just scroll through the lines until you reached line 100 or so.
Don't drop your jaw. Your code is there all very readable.

Now go back to VFP Project|Info and check encrypt.
Build your exe|App again and do the same. Quite unreadable this time.
Encrypting does add a bit to the size of your app|exe
but that's better than giving code away.
