Just wanted to clear up the question as my wife would kill me if I did not. :)
My collegue is mulling over her options on going. You see she is a farmer's wife and a programmer. It seems that besides the kids needing care, the farm animals (and chores) have to be taken care of. So for her to be gone it requires someone to take over for her. I have told her time and time again that the cows can be used for food and then she would not have to worry about them. I guess I just dont understand the cattle trade...
