I'm not sure about this. #DEFINE defintely doesn't work this way. If a VFP funciton (even CHR()) is #DEFINEd it's evaluated at runtime. I don't know for certain that this is the case with #INCLUDE, but I'd be surprised if it didn't exhibit the same behavior when used with a VFP function.
