In CR 8.0, you can, i'm not sure for CR 7. You can write an automation server with the public exposed functions in it. In the developer.hlp are example how to do this in VB, Delphi and C++. I don't have experience in this field but you might be able to create one in VFP.

Another question. Why do you want to do this ? maybe there is another way out.
