Now how on earth would one expect someone to comment on such a thing unless that someone worked within Microsoft? Even I can't comment, because I'm not a PM and therefore wouldn't have received the mandate. I doubt even a VFP PM could comment, because they're unlikely to receive such a mandate as well. As with all urban legends, notice how this lacks a single piece of verfiable fact. No names, nothing.

Even worse, I can't believe I just dignified such a wildly unsubstantiated rumor with a response. :-)
