That may have been the problem...not specifying the dates in the right format. Problem is that I'm importing files from a bunch of FTP servers, all different formats, etc. However, the DTOS() seemed to take care of that so I changed the tag to TRIM(lcField) + DTOS(ldDate). Thanks.
