Ok, try something else;
Make test form, put parent and child table in dataenvironment
relate them as you wish, and then put two grids on form, one with parent and one with child table as record source. Then create two methods, first to break relationship and second to restore it back again.
Now add two buttons that are calling mentioned methods and see what's goin'on
Note - at loading of the form tables has to be already related (DE)
I did not test it with browse window because I dont use browse command any more, but this should work seamlesly.
Also you can test table relations using datasession window.
