Problem is, the MDI form's menu disappears when the child form is shown. And when the child form is closed, the MDI form's menu is shown again. I want to make the said menu still enabled even when the child form is open. I need this because it is possible in what I am developing to have 2 or 3 child forms open in the same MDI form, with all child forms accessible from the MDI menu. How do I resolve this?

Does your child form have a menu? Open the .frm file in Notepad to see if there is thing about a menu and delete it.
