Title:
Problems with ActiveX
I suffered recently a quite nice Windows 95 crash (I had installed some new RAM and it didn´t work quite right) and had to re-install Windows, but something must have happened with VFP 5.0.
If I try to select "ActiveX" in the Form Controls Toolbar I get the message "There are not selected ActiveX controls. Use the Options command from the Tools menu ...".
I open the Alt+Tools, Options, Controls tab, and I choose the ActiveX radiobutton and the "Show Controls" checkbox, and the results are... zilch! ... in the list at the right I get absolutely nothing. I tried the ADD command button, selected all the OCX´s I could find (from COMCTL32 and COMDLG32 down to SYSINFO, TABCTL32 and THREED32) but no dice; nothing happens.
Does anybody have an idea as to what can be wrong? I have already reinstalled Windows three times and VFP about a dozen times (and with different setups; complete, minimal, custom). I think something may be rotten with Windows, but I have no clue as to what can it be.
Thanks!
