How do I tell if a view is open at runtime?

It isn't the mediator. I built a new form from scratch. Yes, I build my framework from scratch as well. I've done all the settings on the combo myself.......tried 6 and 2 and everything else..........that's what has me baffled.

I still consider myself to be a bit of an amateur...do you think it could have anything to do with the buffering?
