I'm not so sure this isn't some big conspiracy. You can imagine the surprise of those first hardy travelers who had heard that France was cranky, wet, miserable, nasty, impossible to find a shower or ice in and, lo and behold, they stumble on the French Riviera.

I say there's something fishy going on here..... <g>
