>Using VFP 6.0 to view jpeg images. Why do they look so bad on the monitor, but print out fine??? They look as if the color was not set right or something. Is there a setting to check or set or something?

Check the color depth for your video card. JPEGs use 24-bit color (16 million colors). If your color depth is set lower than that, your video card will dither the image taking out some colors entirely while trying to find closest matches for others in its available pallette.
