Yeah, your right we should move on. I tried selecting it from the drop down but objects still are put on the form. I think I got it though. When
I select a page in a page frame I am selecting an object in a container which puts the container in edit mode. Selecting any of the objects in my generic container (which you helped me add) also puts this container in edit mode. Philosophy problem solved. Thanks
