I'm trying to print checks that are 8.5" x 7" long. I've set the detail band to list info from each record for one person. That works just fine. I've set the page footer to list the amount of the check (summed from the records in the detail band) and the person's name & address. When I print this on 8.5 x 11" paper, it works just great. When I change it to custom size, I get an error "page footer band is too large to fit on page". I guess I'm missing something. How do I tell it to start the footer at 5"? How do I set the number of inches allowed for the detail band?
