You're right, the field length is 4, but the actual length of the value in that field can be 10 (or 11). I need to know the length of the "longest" value in the table in this integer field. With character fields I can use LEN() and select MAX(LEN(ALLTR(FieldName))). But with numeric fields I have a problem. Maybe you have another solution for this?
