>The only time I get it is if I click the close button while my app setup code is executing. This is before any Read Events and before my ON SHUTDOWN command. The only message I get is a generic VFP message box that says "Cannot Quit VFP" and an OK button. Once I click OK, the app finishes loading with no other problems.
Ok, htat makes a little more sense I suppose. I have often stated that the only code that should go in your ON SHUTDOWN routine is a CLEAR EVENTS, to ensure that all methods of exiting an app use the same shutdown code. I think that if you do this, you will not have a problem because if there is no events loop, there is no READ to CLEAR, and the click will be ignored.
