My experience if very limited as well. My situation was, one of the internal apps that I developed here backs up data to the users c drive on exit. In a citrix session the c drive could (but not always) be the clients c drive. Exiting the program seemed to hang up the system when actually it was just trying to move data over the connection. What I would like is an api call or something that I don't have to set up that tells me whether or not the app was started in a citrix session.

Anyway this one problem is the extent of my experience with development and citrix. I have seen other threads on Citrix and know there are plenty of people that can help you here with any questions.
