It does, but you need to have much greater understanding of the underpinnings of how Windows dispatching works and finer control of the environment than safely made available from VFP.

Again it exists now, with both NT and Win2K supporting multiprocessor SMP, and the Win32 API offering fine control of process and thread affinity for a given processor in the SMP environment. If your users think that trying to run several apps simultaneously on a machine with only one processor and inadequate memory, they're unrealistic. Compare what they're doing to trying to pull a 10 ton trailer up a steep hill behind a Yugo; while the car might make it alone, adding 20,000 lbs to the load really slows it down, and it may just sit there if you're lucky, or break down entirely.
