Mark and those interested in VFP/Citrix;

A client has been using a large complex VFP application which we delivered three years ago and is heavily used. I upgraded the application to VFP 6.0 at the beginning of the year and then the client wanted to make it a Web Application.

At the last minute the client decided to go to Citrix and Windows 2000. It runs great and has had no problems. The reason the client went this route is that now everyone from his original office works at his/her home, and his new office is near the beach. All employees have had DSL lines installed and the application is FAST!


My feeling is that this is a great solution for those that do not or cannot go via the web for whatever reason, be it security, features, time to implement, etc.
