I avoid embedding images in a general field of a table. It is better to store the name of the file in the table, and place a picture control on your form. Then bind the graphic image to the picture control when the record is loaded onto the form.

If you are going for a browse look, I don't know if you would be able to use a grid control with picture controls to accomplish the task.

Are you using VFP version 5? I thought version 6 overcame the problem that you are describing...
