>Well, to show just how far behind things I am (and I also to show that I usually ignore virus warnings and I've never been hit with one. Figure that out.< s >) what was "Life Stages"?
That was an SHS attachment to an email with many different message titles Joke, Funny, etc, that propogated emails the same way ILY did, but otherwise did little harm, except copy itself all over servers and hard drives to run again when opened from anywhere. Shut down our mail servers all day. McAfee did a terrible job catching it. It was supposed to, but hardly caught any.
LS barely even made the news, but my agency got creamed with it. That was the one even a LAN Manager opened up and sent out a copy to all employees (several times, for good measure :)
I looked at the code of a copy I quarantined - it actually had a real joke called Life Stages in it. A little sexist, though :)
