>Well, to show just how far behind things I am (and I also to show that I usually ignore virus warnings and I've never been hit with one. Figure that out.< s >) what was "Life Stages"?
Life Stages actually says a real joke, but also does it's dirty work behind that. It got past the usual barriers because it's named something like "jokes.txt.wsh"
WSH files are Windows ScrapBook files - they should only exist if you crashed or something. I took a look at the file, and it's written within that it's a VBS file, so when you execute that file, Windows looks, sees that it's a VBS, so it renames it to VBS and executes it... But because you are likely to see that it ends with .TXT, you will only see an harmless text file.
WSH extention are not normally shown, even if you have selected to "show all extensions", because of a setting in the registry. Search for "Life Stages" on Symantec's or McAfee's to find out how to always show WSH extensions.
