We encountered some fairly significant challenges trying to upsize data from VFP to SQL Server. We found a more reliable methodology to be to reverse engineer the VFP databases unto a model in XCase and then re-generate them to SQL Server.

Regards,

Jason

P.S. Per my neighborhood SQL Server Guru par excellance, the TEXT data type in SQL Server is the closest equivalent to a memo field from VFP.
