It's been awhile... Off the top of my head all I can
say is your in for a long haul. I remember Excel was
always the example...

Remember one thing about DDE (& why I am moving away
from it) is that EVERY DDE app has it's own
implementation of DDE. No two apps are the same.
The theory is generally consistent but implementation
can be quite different.

I just peeked at the MSDN CD & see that KB article
Q113923 talks about what you want. Look for it at:
http://www.microsoft.com/kb/

If you can't find it let me know & I'll find a
pigeon somewhere...
