Overall, to me, it's a better product than VB or VFP, but the risk factor coz of the owning company's instability, really worries me. I have to think long term. Borland-Inprise have this history of ups and downs (What happened to dBase, and some products from them?) that's why the merge with COREL didn't materialize. Well, there is no such thing as indispensible company on this planet earth, but the effort and sacrifice you will be making should be seriously put into consideration before entering into something new.
