Not sure what might be causing that, but I would start by ensuring that the view's update settings are correct, specifically the Tables property of the view. Ensure that the base table in the tables property is qualified with the path and/or the name of the database, and that only one table is listed in the property. FWIW, my EView utility makes spotting this stuff much easier. You can get it here from the files section.
