Can't Decide Between Access 2000 and Visual FoxPro 6.0

I have been developing databases for end users with Microsoft Access for about 4 years. I have a large project coming up and it has been brought to my attention that Visual FoxPro 6.0 is a superior database development software program. I have read all the information about Visual FoxPro on Microsoft's web page and I just haven't been able to see what makes Visual FoxPro so much better. I am very familiar with Access and I have a little experience with Visual Basic. I have never even seen Visual FoxPro and it looks like there is a large learning curve. I have been trying to make my choice for the last two weeks and I just can't. I hope you can enlighten me and let me know what makes Visual FoxPro so much better.
