Like you, I missed the Foxpro wait window when I moved to VB, and I haven't been able to find anything like it online. A few weeks ago, I began writing a class to mimic the wait window behavior. It's a WIP at this point, but I intend to make it available as an ActiveX DLL once it's "finished".
