Doug,
>I also think that SOAP, XML, this new .NET stuff and making VFP communicate over the Internet is where our future lies. That and maintaining older 2.x apps.
>*gack*< I have TONS of work lined up for months ahead, all related to web-enabling old 2.6 or existing VFP apps. One is in a very large enterprise where the IS director got burned on a badly written Foxpro app. He is, however, open to seeing what can be done with VFP COM middle-tier, talking to SQL Server, with the COM objects built to easily convert to Web Services.
I see no slowdown in the next year or two for this kind of work.
