I don't know about that. Alot of the VBers use VB as though it was a data cruncher like VFP. It's just that die hard VBers don't know that VFP is a better tool for what they're trying to do.

I would guess it would be very easy for Microsoft to convert VB so that it is data intensive as VFP and still keep all it's current strengths. When that happens, will it be just VB and end of the line for VFP or will it be VB+VFP hybrid? - more likely the former. I can't see this going the other way because Microsoft will never add VB-ish power to VFP... and we all know why.

Sure, foxpro will be around after that but so is COBOL and RPG. Since the Y2K scare in the late 1990's has anybody heard anything about COBOL/RPG/Fortran...?
