I wonder if Access 2000 still includes page-level locking when inserting records, which caused performance problems with over X number of users (x ranged from 12-100 depending on who I talked to!). At any rate, Wes, VFP has a better multi-user reputation than Access -- again, maybe that's changed, and maybe in fact it doesn't matter too much for your current app.

Evan's response brings up an important point, too -- you have four years experience in Access, so keep that in mind. Do you have the time for a learning curve right now, or are you under the gun on this?
