Mark has it right, "He would want to exclude threads in the Chatter category from being moved to another forum." Rationale:
Occasionally I (and others) have a simple non-vfp question needing a quick response. I can post it in vfp under Chatter, and get a reply in a minute or two, often. Or I could post it in a tech section of another forum and wait one or two days, possibly, for the reply.
I know we've discussed this before, and it would be logically better to be more technically correct in message placement (and I do so when not rushed, usually), but the situation
de facto is what I state, as we all know. I've made a couple posts in other forums days ago, and never yet have a reply. If posted here under Chatter, I'll bet I would've heard something by now.
