Thank you for your comment. The problem with the view is that I am getting the data from a Foxpro remote automation server who does all the business logic. There is no direct sharing of data between the two, and I have to use XML, ADO, or similar means for communicating between them.

I brought this problem up on this forum before, and XML was the best idea that anyone could come with.

In other circumstances, I agree that your approach would have been the best.
