I started throwing VFP classes here for my programming team of 6, then some of the other teams found out about them and they have grown to an average attendance of 15, most of whom have at least some experience with older versions of FoxPro. So far, we have covered:

Buffering (why do it?)
Basic Form development (1 table, 1 form)
Introduction to Classes
Basic Application Templates
What DO the wizards do for you and why you should know (and care)
Basic SQL - simple selects, multi-table joins
Normalization and the impact on SQL

This afternoon I'm going to cover Class Creation and Frameworks

After all that, my question is: Have I missed any of the basics of VFP?

I told the people that I would continue these classes as long as I have a topic and they feel that they are learning something, and before I start stepping into some of the more advanced parts of VFP, I want to make sure I've covered the basics well enough - but I've been doing VFP since 3.0 and FoxPro so long that those line between basic and advanced are REAL blurry.

>I'm searching for a Visual Foxpro training class in the Houston, Tx area. It's like searching for the Holly Grail. Does anyone know of such a class in the Houston, Dallas, San Antonio or Austin area's?
