>I need to establish communication with LCD customer display (program POS). Is anyone solved that kind of problem? I suppose problem is solved by using communications ActiveX or something similar. Is a using second monitor (capabilities of Win98) better solution? How to do that?

There's no generic reply possible; it's a function of how you connect the POS display to the PC. If it connects via a video card, you may end up using multiple monitor support, but it's unlikely to be the case - most POS systems connect through a parallel, serial or USB port and behave as serial devices rather than video displays. You have to know about the product you work with before it's possible to answer the question.
