A charity I do voluntary work for is currently trying to set up a computer (Win 98) to run a single application, giving information to visitors. The application is a commercially available CD-ROM, so there is no possibility of customisation.
The application requires use of the mouse & spacebar only - we have sourced an configurable mouse, allowing one button to simulate the space bar, so the keyboard can be locked away.
Is there anyway to disable access to the maximize/minimize/close/system buttons & remove the menu bar (possible programmatically through another application).
Basically, it is required to stop malicious visitors having access to anything other than the application. Staff will have access to the keyboard, to allow proper shutdown at night.
(P.S I've cross-posted this to the VC++/VB/Windows forums, but the Vfp forum seems to get better response, even to off-topic subjects - maybe there's a way to do the job with Vfp & API's)
