>That'd be my guess, the registry. You might try searching it for a vfp runtime or 2, and see what you find on related keys for pathing, etc. Perhaps it will be fairly obvious.

I hadn't thought of just scanning the registry for references to the runtime libraries for an errant reference but I will do that now. For that matter, I think I'll uninstall only the FoxPro part, then search for remaining references and try that.
All aside, this may be a good excuse for me to acquisition a new PC. It's about time .... but ugh, the makework agony.
