>I have developed web applications with separate View (Read Only), Edit and Add ASP forms. Depending upon what you are doing the representative form will appear. Now, the department wants to use one form for View, Edit and Add. I agree this reduces maintenance and would prefer one form for all purposes. If I were able to save two properties to indicate if the form was in Edit or Add mode, this would seem straightforward. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Tom,
How about you just send a parameter in the QueryString:
http://www.domain.com/dir/ASPForm.asp?Option=Edit
Hope this helps!
